2nd JULY 2004

FORMATION  OF TRUST  

The day when seven people i.e. Mr. N.K.Sehgal , Mrs.Uma  Sehgal, Mr. Raj Sehgal, Mrs. Samiksha Sehgal , Mrs. Monika Kumar ,  Mrs.Anju Badhwar and Mrs. Meenakshi Bagga joined their hands for service towards humanity by formation of a prestigious trust "NU SEHGAL CHARITABLE TRUST".

10th AUGUST 2004

 

REGISTRATION OF TRUST

On this day the trust was registered with DISTRICT REGISTRAR OF FIRM AND SOCIETIES, GURGAON , HARYANA with registration number as DR/GGN/103 Dtd 10.08.2004

31st AUGUST 2004

OPENING OF BANK ACCOUNT

Bank account was opened specifically for trust with HDFC Bank , DLF Gurgaon as a/c no. as 0441000106391 with seed capital of Rs. 1,00,000/- donated by the Chairman of the Trust.

11th SEPT. 2004

 

Inauguration of a free Homeopathic Clinic

Inauguration of a free Homeopathic Clinic, set up initially at 105 Queens Plaza 'C' block  Sushant Lok ,Gurgaon. The inauguration of the free homeopathic clinic was done by Shri Anurag Aggarwal (I.A.S), Dy Commissioner , Gurgaon.

The Trust applied for registration under section 12A of Income Tax Act 1961.

NOVEMBER 2004

 

P.A.N. NO AAATN 6401C allotted to the trust by GOVERNMENT OF INDIA Income Tax Department

10 th DEC.2005

 

This day the trust was registered with Government of India ,Ministry of Finance under section 12AA of the Income Tax Act of 1961

FREE HOMEOPATHIC CLINIC  of trust initially operating part time every evening for two hours (except on Saturdays) with a qualified Homeopathic doctor employed by the Trust for the purpose ,(charging nominal registration fee of Rs.10/-) has already treatedaround 1200 patients in one year.

9thJANUARY 2005

 

N.U. Sehgal Trust was the first trust in Gurgaon to donate and arrange air lifting of 400 stainless steel sets of Thaalis ,Glasses, Patilas etc as TSUNAMI RELIEF FUND.

The trust  added two facilities of

1.     Free Reading Room for Senior Citizens

2.    Free Meditation Space and Facilities

by hiring a commercial space in UG-65 Sushant Lok Vyapar Kendra ,Gurgaon

Government of India in recognition of the Trust activities, granted Income Tax Exemption under section 80G vide F No. CIT/FDB/TECH/04-05/77/62 up to March,2007

he trust had approached various hospitals/diagnostic centers  for DISCOUNTED/ REBATED medical treatment to Senior Citizens enrolled with us .

We are glad to inform that some of the hospitals have already  confirmed good discounts (up to 50%) for trust enrolled senior citizens.

Participated in 'Nirog Dham' -a Health Mela at Salwan Public School ,Gurgaon, Provided free consultations to large number of students & general public

NU SEHGAL CHARITABLE TRUST PARTICIPATED IN 'NIROG DHAM'-A  COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH MELA ORGANISED BY SALWAN PUBLIC SCHOOL, GURGAON ON 8-9 DEC 2006.

One of the Salient features of the Health Mela was the stall put up by NU Sehgal Charitable trust where in free homeopathic consultation was being given by three qualified doctors of the trust to a large number of students & general public.

This was one of the rare non commercial units which had been exclusively offering free service to society since 2004.

Dr Meenakshi Bagga, Dr Ruchira Sachdeva, Dr Veena Sharma provided consultations to over hundred patients &  Mr Raj Sehgal (Managing trustee) with Chairman of the trust Sh N.K.Sehgal  managed the event

                

1 JUNE 2007 Installed Two Benches in a MEHNDI Park at C Bock,Sushant Lok,Gurgaon

              

2008

 

The yearly AWARDS OF HONOUR were started in 2008 to following senior citizens engaged in selfless social service to the society in Sushant Lok by NU Sehgal Charitable Trust

 

  1. Sh R.L.Munshi: A retired class  I officer (Ministry of Defence) has been conducting FREE YOGA CLASSES in a park for the last 5 years
  2. Sh S S Ahuja: A retired senior officer (Ministry of External Affairs) had been providing his free services of regularly operating the  FREE READING ROOM of trust .He was able to convert he same into a library by issuing books free to "Senior Citizens" 
  3. Sh Inder Sen: A retired Director (Railway Board) who had been serving the Sushant Lok residents  by solving their problems voluntarily for over a decade including arranging public facilities of benches, sheds in the park etc

   Dec 2009

 

March :  RENOVATION of  Trust Clinic cum Reading Room  was carried out which included new tile flooring and tiling of walls ,reorientation of partitions to create more space for patients & senior citizens .

 

Oct-Nov: Free distribution of preventive homeopathic medicines for SWINE FLU : Our trust was the first to advertise and arrange distribution of free Homeopathic medicines to  counter the out break of SWINE FLU  in Gurgaon

 

December: The following have been selected for Social Service AWARDS OF HONOUR by NU Sehgal Charitable Trust

  1. Sh P K Bhatia:  The only social service worker to organize religious functions like Dusshera ,Janamashtami etc for Hundreds of Sushant lok residents ,all at his own cost as well as running about to organize .
  2. Dr R Shiam,MSc,PhD,FRAC (London),FBS,FSAB: The first social service oriented gentleman to provide free service of initial running of FREE Reading Room provided by the Trust besides volunteering other social services to society 
  3. Sh A.L.Baweja: Ex. DSP Vigilance (Cabinet Secretariat): He is an ever ready social worker serving free for the Trust reading room Cum liberary for several months. Also he put in his best to arrange issuance of correct voter cards for Sushant Lok residents including filing a PIL in Chandigarh for corrections in voter ID cards

a. Obtained 80(G) renewal from o/o Income Tax comissioner Faridabad vide CIT/FDB/Tech/09-10/80G/107/8/1070 dtd 7-5-2010 upto 31.03.2013.

 

b. Paid shop rental upto 2015 for activity shop in Sushant vyapaar Kendra

 

   
2011

a. Distributed 100 blankets to poor in a government building of Sushant Lok I,Gurgaon

   

b. Supported health programme of all age races

            

   
2012

a. Added Trust storage/shelves to accomodate over 600 books on various fields like novels, relgius, educational, children, homopathy etc besides over 300 medicians.

b. Held a medical camp in october 2012 with 1000 hemopathic Free dosses against spreading evidence of virus danger.

a. New Registration under latest Haryana Society Act 2012 also arranged.

b. Our Trust virtually is first to approach Depty Comissiner Gurgaon with offer of 400    sets of utensils needed for Himalayan Tsunami victims/suffers.

c. Walls and Floor Tiling of trust urinal arranged.
